About our Union
Welcome to the Home Page of IAMAW 463 Local Lodge. Union Members can use this website to learn more about current events, meeting notifications, and for other valuable resources and web links.
Our Union represents over 160 members that are partnered with
Lockheed Martin and CAE at Little Rock Air Force Base in Jacksonville,
Arkansas. Annually we educate over 2000 students from not just the
United States but from nations around the globe. Our organization
develops, creates, maintains and distributes C-130 aircrew and
maintenance courseware and provides superior aircrew instruction and
refresher training to Air Force students. We also maintain the
simulators utilized during training. Our support people keep behind
the scenes tasks and functions flowing seamlessly. We are the flagship
in training facilities for ATS contracts.

Who's in our Union?
Below are a couple of graphic representations of the membership of Local Lodge 463.

Why Join a Union?
MONEY. That’s the bottom line in the world of work. And, union
members make a lot more money than non-union employees, U.S.
government figures show.
Union members earn 28% more than non-union workers in wages alone,
according to the U.S. Department of Labor. (If you include the value
of benefits, it’s 36% more!)
People in lower paying jobs gain even more from union bargaining
power. Paychecks for women with a union contract are 30% higher than
for women without a union. African-American union members make 37%
more than their non-union counterparts. For Hispanic union members,
wages are 55% higher!
So that’s the bottom line – joining the IAM puts thousands more
dollars into your pocket, year after year.
